Lady in Loft

While I normally skip on (all 1000 daily) emails from Loft, I really couldn't help stopping in on my new daily 2-3 mile lunch time walk routine to check out the massive sale; 50% off EVERYTHING. For a girl who has put her clothes shopping on a major budget, I knew I could "do some damage" without really doing any damage.

Simple, classic black dress for helping A Touch of Grace! The girls told me that if you can find a nice black dress WITH pockets, it is always a must buy. And how cute are these floral sandals?! No brainer.

Fell in love with this coral maxi skirt, especially with the tank tucked in. This is a must for San Diego this weekend! 

Bright colored pants for work are always necessary, and the obvious, can't go wrong with sandals- especially when they are $12!

This week is all about COLOR! With spring cleaning going on (thanks Glitter Guide!) I've been in the mood to sprinkle little touches of color all over our dull (& freshly cleaned) apartment!

1 - This J. Crew necklace / quote combo seriously made my day yesterday! It's exactly how I feel, I'm sure you can tell from my instagram and few outfit posts (1,2,3,4) I like jewelry, I like it a lot. And it should always be big, bright, and fabulous!

2 & 3 - C. Wonder has been another recent fave- home goods for great prices, in great colors, and lots of monogramming! This pillow and bar set are easy pops of color to add to our little apartment.

4 - I have been eyeing J. Crew portable Iphone chargers since Christmas!! but had no real need for one until starting work at Kinsley James! Tweeting & instagraming from weddings and events takes a toll on your battery, so now it is totally justified! PLUS, this baby just went on sale, holla!

Motivation Monday!

For my fitness girls, what is motivating you this spring?! For me, I can't wait to sparkle (aka sweat) it out today- I just realized we will be in San Diego in less than 2 weeks for our good friends wedding- that means dresses & tanks! Just like last weeks post, I'm focusing mostly on arms and cardio because my arms will definitely be out getting some color and well, they need some serious toning!

For food- R & I are trying to stick with mostly paleo, but have been very busy with work so the next two weeks we are going to be very low on carbs and going back to basics, chicken and veggies. Boring, but highly effective. I sometimes let my work get the best of me and have been skipping out of gym for the past few months- but have been making it a goal to go 4 times a week! I always feel better after and my work is usually a lot better after a sweat sesh- but getting my butt there can be hard!

A Stella & Dot Life

A lot of feedback and emails I've received since starting Suburban Sparkle (6 months now!) have been about my life as a Stella & Dot stylist. While I try to find balance between fashion, fitness, and Stella & Dot posts, it can be hard because the business has truly been amazing for me. A hugeee reason as to why I sparkle in my suburban life is not because of the amazeballs jewelry I wear everyday, but from the confidence and friendships this company has brought me! If we aren't challenging ourselves and trying new things, we aren't growing- and that's what this company is all about!

Between now and the end of April, we are offering a huge bonus to new stylists! Flirty Florals!

Something I will never grow out of is floral prints! They are just so cheerful, how can you not be in an instantly happy mood putting them on?! Plus the print isn't just cutesy anymore, it can easily be dressed up for a night out or in the office. One woman that truly sparkles and inspires me is Tory Burch. She is as philanthropic as she is fashionable and makes me feel like we can have it all, including good karma. Tory's use of patterns and color always brightens my day, so in honor of the first day of Spring (yay!)
